TALK - AN EXPLORATORY DESIGN JOURNEY
Archibald and Theresa. Two designers. One vision.
A shared passion for cross-cultural investigations and societal topics.
A love for sushi and absurdity. They link the ratio and the heart, the material
and the emotional, the human and the machine, the fish and the rice.

STATE OF EXTREMES
Our project « Flight Mode » will be exhibited at the Design Museum Holon as part of the exhibition State of Extremes curated by Aric Chen with Maya Dvash and Azinta Plantenga. The exhibition aims to show the potential of design to reveal, critique, resist, mitigate (and, yes, sometimes exacerbate) extremes and the mechanisms that drive them. At a time when our technologies, power structures and impact on the planet are engendering ever more extreme scenarios, we hope "State of Extremes" might serve as a call for moderation.

GEO-DESIGN: JUNK
GEO–DESIGN: Junk. All That Is Solid Melts into Trash, exhibition is curated by Martina Muzi and Joseph Grima in collaboration with Van Abbemuseum and explores global systems of discarded things through 18 strikingly different investigations by alumni from Design Academy Eindhoven. We contributed to the exhibition with « Common Sands », an investigation into the silicates integrated in our household appliances and their role as waste.
Junk is not an accident, something unplanned or unexpected—it is a substance that has been designed. Junk is the trail that is left in the wake of growth and global trade, a product of industry, an indicator of income and social status, a material, an aesthetic. Junk is a paradox: without it, our economies would wither; on the other hand, we are literally drowning in it.

AD MENSAM
We are delighted to invite you to AD MENSAM where we will show our project « comrades ».
The exhibition in the beautiful Schloss Hollenegg explores the table as a place where we come together, share food, behave, fight and reunite. The table as the setting for human interactions, a place where rituals play an important role in determining with whom we sit and how, instinctively and traditionally, the rules of sharing food get made.
